Case study · Social media & brand system
Aeon Labs
A social presence as future-ready as the software.
Overview
The brief
The challenge
Aeon Labs came with a logo and nothing around it: no colours in use, no imagery, no voice. Their services (custom software, blockchain, fintech, enterprise builds) are abstract and hard to show, and their category is crowded with blue stock photos of padlocks and binary code. They needed a social presence that felt futuristic and premium, yet spoke plainly to business decision-makers.
The approach
I started from the violet in their logo and built outward: a moodboard to lock the mood, palette and type, then a repeatable post system, one grid, one headline style, three image moods, so every post feels like part of the same brand. Finally I documented it as brand guidelines so the team can keep going without me.
01 / Moodboard
Setting the direction
Before designing a single post, I collected and composed six moodboard frames to align on three things: a palette (deep void, violet, a magenta glow), an image mood (human × machine, surreal horizons, builders at work) and the two-tone headline. One early frame tested a pixel-style display face on a pastel ground; we dropped it for Inter, which reads better at feed size.

02 / Visual system
Deep space, lit by violet
The logo’s violet became the anchor. I paired it with a near-black “Void” for depth, a magenta glow for energy and a soft lavender for secondary type, then graded every photo into that range so stock imagery reads as one world.
- Void#0D0514
- Aeon Violet#7569EB
- Signal Magenta#FF00D7
- Lavender Mist#DFDBFF
- Graphite#484848
Your Business
Needs a Tech
Roadmap
The two-tone headline
One typeface, Inter, in two weights. Each headline splits weight and colour to land on the word that matters: “Faster”, “Tech Roadmap”, “Built Right”. It gives a simple stock-photo post a recognisable voice in the feed.
03 / Social posts
Twelve posts, one system
Every post follows the same grid: headline top-left inside an ~8% margin, logo bottom-left, image full-bleed. Dark and light posts alternate so the profile grid has rhythm, and each one carries a single service message, from blockchain and fintech to custom software and scale.

04 / LinkedIn covers
Same world, wider canvas
For the LinkedIn company page I adapted the system to the 1128 × 191 banner: imagery bleeds in from the left, the logo sits top-right and the tagline “Secure. Agile. Reliable.” anchors the bottom-right.

05 / Outcome
A brand the team can keep running
What I delivered
- Moodboard & creative direction
- 12 social media posts
- 5 LinkedIn company covers
- Brand guidelines: logo usage, colour, type, imagery, post layout
What I learned
Working with a logo I didn’t design meant listening to it first. Letting its violet lead, and writing the rules down, turned a set of posts into a system someone else can extend.
